Hi there and thanks for stopping by to check out The Brand Dance! Welcome! I’m Michelle and I’m so glad you’re here. I have an inkling as to why you stopped by and I’m pretty excited about it. So, I should probably introduce myself properly and share with you why The Brand Dance exists in the first place….

I’ve spent the most recent part of my career (15 years or so) working with nearly every big lifestyle magazine brand you can think of….and I LOVED it. Surrounded by exceptionally talented people who worked HARD to bring BIG brands to life so that audiences near and far could enjoy their content across whatever medium they pleased.

Working with a massive and quite varied portfolio of clients and being responsible for bringing their marketing campaigns to life was thrilling. Walking through the supermarket seeing a campaign you helped create on the shelf or someone on the Manly Ferry scrolling the Insta feed for a brand you are working on, or a group of girls on the beach reading a copy of a magazine you helped get into their hands – honestly, it’s awesome. I’ve spent my career working with brands I LOVE. I know that I achieved the success I did in my corporate roles because I sought out the opportunities to work with the brands I truly loved and really believed in. Even if it meant it was harder work. Every career decision for me has been based on this. For me, decisions based on passion, self belief and hard work = success. It’s how I choose to approach not only my career but the other areas of my life also. Which is why my husband and I decided to (sea) change it up a bit a few years ago and relocate our family from ‘the big city’ to a delightful little spot on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

So why “The Brand Dance?” well…..why the heck not? From the moment we landed here we realised just how important small business was in our community. And it’s the same in most communities around Australia. Through my vast experience, I have the skills to help these businesses grow and thrive and want to make a difference that gives them clarity and confidence to succeed in their own way. To help combine all those little steps it takes to create a business in the first place into one ‘BIG DANCE’ that elevates that same business into the BIG brand they dreamed of.

And I can’t wait to get started.
