3 reasons why a BRAND SHOOT boosts your business

If you’re running a small business, I’m here to tell you, you need a Brand Shoot. I know, sometimes the whole thing feels daunting and some people even think (a little mistakenly) “But I’m not a model, why would I need a any kind of shoot situation?” Well, here’s why……A Brand Shoot has ZERO to do with modelling (in any way, shape or form) and EVERYTHING to do with creating brand assets for yourself and your business that will help you COMMUNICATE to your audience.

You can do a brand shoot just for yourself, if you’re building a personal brand or you can do a brand shoot that also features your product. The choice is completely yours, you can let the creativity flow!

I can guarantee that a fresh BRAND SHOOT is going to boost your business and here’s 3 reasons why….

1.       It will give you CONFIDENCE to show up

In my experience, the number one reason a small business owner holds back from creating content for their business that actually features them is because they don’t feel confident about it. They either don’t like the shots/video or it simply doesn’t represent them or their brand anymore. Well all know that ‘people buy from people’ so even if you are a product based business, there will definitely be a reason at some point, that you, as the founder needs to show up for your audience now and in the future. There is only one way around this….. Organise a fresh shoot! Ensure you allow time to plan in advance the detail so that you end up with images and video you absolutely love and can’t wait to share with your new and existing customers!

2.       It will give you CLARITY and MOTIVATION to think long term

If you are going to invest in a brand shoot, you’ve got to make it work hard for you. You want the biggest bang for your buck possible, right? Right! Every dollar spent counts, so ask yourself these questions…..

‘What are my current brand assets like? Do they represent where I’m at right now?’

‘How’s my content strategy looking, could it be improved?’

‘What do I need to prepare now, to fulfil my plans for 2023?’

Perhaps you’re thinking about launching a podcast? You’ll need a promo tile. Maybe you want to pitch yourself to the media or get busy on LinkedIn? You’ll need a fab head shot. New product launch? You’ll need imagery and perhaps an introductory video.  Or perhaps it’s your website and social content that needs a little freshen up? What do you want to achieve in 2023 and how can you use fresh, relevant, dynamic brand assets to put this into action. Preparing what you need now for the long term is a smart business move.

3.       It provides you with professional tools to COMMUNICATE. This is perhaps the most IMPORTANT!

With fresh brand imagery that looks professional and has a strategy behind it, you have no excuse. You’ll have great new assets (that you love!) and that you’ll be inspired to get creative with, feeling confident (and maybe even a little excited) to move forward and communicate to your audience. This means you’ll be able to ditch the analysis paralysis and really get amongst it! Once you’ve done the prep work for a brand shoot, you can stop thinking and just do! It doesn’t (and shouldn’t) need to cost thousands of dollars. Your business and long term brand deserves the investment.
